The club has been linked with a move for Mattia De Sciglio and other top players, but they will have to pay a hefty price. The Blues are trying to sell Oscar in order to raise funds and they are likely to make a move for the Italian international. 

After an embarrassing 2-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League, Chelsea were forced to sell their most valuable player in order to balance the books. The decision was made to buy back David Luiz from Paris Saint-Germain and reinforce their back line with a new defender. One player who has been linked with Chelsea is Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng. Boateng, who is a versatile defender, can play both as a centre-back and as a right-back. Boateng would be a solid replacement for David Luiz and could help Chelsea regain some of their lost form.
