Purple Hearts

Purple Hearts are awarded to United States military personnel who have been wounded or killed in combat.

The Purple Heart is often seen as a token of appreciation for the service members and their families. The first Purple Heart was awarded to Private John F. Kennedy after he was shot during World War II. In the past, the award was given to soldiers who were wounded in battle, but the current policy is to award the Purple Heart to any soldier who has been killed or wounded in combat.

Purple Hearts are a symbol of military service. They are given to those who have been wounded or killed in action. They are awarded by the U.S. Armed Forces to members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. The Purple Heart is awarded for wounds received in combat and for those who died as a result of their injuries.

Purple Hearts is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2003 by a group of friends who all had a passion for helping others. The name comes from the color of the military medals that are given to members of the military who have been wounded or killed in combat. The Purple Hearts started in their home town of Portland, Oregon and have since expanded to 17 cities in the United States and Canada. The Purple Hearts program helps those who have been affected by war, poverty, and natural disasters by providing food, shelter, education, and medical care.
